Tips for Tax Season
Sarah Desormiers, JD, CPA, President and Founder of Integrated Tax Consultants will discuss key points for landlords who want to keep more of their money. From the basics of LLC issues to new tax code implications for real estate, Sarah will cover a range of topics relevant to landlords and take your questions.
Efficiency Maine Rebates for Landlords & Heat Pump Installations
Efficiency Maine will share current rebates offered for different types of insulation, heat pumps, gas heating systems, etc. In addition, we're going to have a heat pump vendor discuss implementation options for apartment buildings. It's been a number of years since Efficiency Maine has been out to the SMLA and we're excited to have them back.
Heat Pumps for Apartments
Royal River Heat Pumps will be in the house on Tues, 2/11 to share info and examples of how heat pumps can be installed in apartment buildings. A perfect compliment to Efficiency Maine.
In addition, a Portland Inspector from the Licensing and Housing Safety Department will be present at each meeting through May 2020. This month, we will be pleased to welcome Misch Budischewsky.
For the February meeting, late fees are waived. However, all registrations must be in no later than midday on Monday, February 10th for food order and headcount purposes.
